| Oath | To swear that a statement is true. In view of Matthew 5:33-37 swearing by any object is forbidden in the Christian religion. An object would include a Bible (court testimony) or a flag (as in a pledge to one). It renders debates such as the Christian view of the wording of the pledge to the flag bizzare. |

| Offering | Protection money to the invisible, celestial, all powerful, and omniscient mafia don that couldn't handle primitive chariots on a level plain even with the battle plan because they were made of iron. |

| Ohmigod | An interjection which means roughly, "This event parallels my non-belief in God, because had I not witnessed it myself, I would not have believed it." |

| Original sin | The belief that someone who has just begun to live bears the responsibility of the sins of his/her ancestors and should therefore be punished for eternity unless he is baptized. (see baptism) |
