Term Definition
GapWhat we don't know yet. The only place where "God" could still be. In ancient time almost everywhere. Now almost nowhere.

GenesisA fairy tale written by bronze-age goat herders, not believed by anyone over eleven years old (mental age)

Genesis ShuffleThe belief by fundamentalist theists that science  and scientific evidence is irrelevant because when they say something from their religion is true, that makes  the entire Universe and all evidence and Natural Laws magically rearrange themselves to fit whichever particular myth they are claiming is God's word.

George W. BushThe only known, documented case of de-evolution. (Don't  believe me? Bush or Chimp?)

God
  1. That almighty, all-powerful Creator of the entire Universe who couldn't be bothered to stop 9/11 from happening but did assert His omnipotence by ensuring two steel I-beams in the shape of a cross remained in the wreckage, thus proving His almighty Bad-Assitude.
  2. A proposed magical super-being who expects everyone  to believe in Him, while carefully concealing all evidence  of His existence.
  3. A proposed magical super-being who can create Universes, is all-knowing and all-powerful, and cares about the sexual  practices of every person in the world.
  4. A man-like being vaguely known to some. Identity uncertain,  although there is widespread evidence that his last name  is "Dammit".
  5. The CEO and founder of Religion,  Inc., a not-for-profit mass- advertising, life-management and "protection" firm. Has been investigated for a lengthy list of criminal behaviors, including mass-murder, but has never been convicted.
  6. Mythical Deity which has no creator, was never created,  existed since the beginning of time (see Universe)  or created itself. Possibly made by God (see God)
  7. (the father.) Jupiter. Corruption of Deus (Zeus) Pater.  (See Zeus)
  8. A totalitarian that you can't see.

God's PlanWhat God wants people to do. Based on the Bible and  the interpretation thereof by various religious groups, the "Plan" seems to be: fill the entire world,  shoulder-to-shoulder, with people who are unwilling to think critically, who are intolerant of homosexuality, who oppose any attempt to manipulate reproductive biology  (except to enhance fertility), and who are not opposed  to exterminating entire civilizations if they displease the Almightily, unless, of course, they have chariots  of iron. The question of *why* God wants a living wall-to-wall  carpet of bleaters remains open.

God's WillGod's unknowable, incomprehensible reasons for his actions and Grand Plan for us that must be followed at all costs.

God-shaped holeThe gap that lies between the ears of a fundamentalist.

GoddiditA phrase used by theists to express the idea "I  don't know". It differs from the common usage of  "I don't know" in that it implies that "I  don't wish to find out, either."

GoodStandard of behavior that God is restricted to. This standard either existed before God, or can be arbitrarily  decided at any time by God.

Graven ImageA depiction of a creature, person, or deity, usually in statue form. An idol. The Judeo-Christian religion  has a commandment against the creation and worship of  graven images. Examples of graven images include a statue of a golden calf or a dead guy on a cross.

Great FloodA period about 4000 years ago when the whole world was covered with water by the Guy in the Sky in order  to kill all the naughty people, except for Noah and  his family. This event went unnoticed by the ancient  Egyptians who miraculously didn't get their feet wet  and, disappointingly to some, saw no upsurge in umberella sales.

Greek Orthodox ChurchOne of the two largest paedophile rings of the world (see Roman Catholic Church). Also does its best to keep the country it's based in well into the Middle Ages via an elaborate propaganda of deceit.

GullibleUsed to describe one who is foolish enough to believe  in peer-reviewed scientific theories based on observational evidence and logic, rather than in the mistranscribed, mistranslated and misquoted creation myths of a group  of Middle Eastern tribes.
