Term Definition
Faith
  1. Belief without proof. Often confused by theists with the word "belief," but it is actually a subset of that word. Oddly, many theists don't feel comfortable if they can't accuse other people of also having some  sort of faith. (See also "wishful thinking")
  2. Foundation for fantasy.
  3. One's ability to believe in something that they know is not true.

Faith-Based InitiativeAn act intended to advance one group's religious agenda. (See Sept 11, 2001)

Family valuesEuphemism for homophobia. Teaching your children to  despise homosexuals and non-Christians.

FateCommon theme in childrens' stories where a master-plan determines the path of all the characters and guarantees a Happy-Ever-After™ for  all the pleasant characters.

Fetta CheeseThe end result of milking sheep. (See religion)

Fish symbolA plastic emblem you can place on the back of your car to demonstrate to people behind you that you are potentially dangerous, and that even cretins can operate complex machinery.

Flying Spaghetti MonsterCreator of all that we see and feel. The so called "overwhelming scientific evidence" pointing towards evolutionary processes is nothing but a coincidence, put in place by Him with His Noodly Appendage. Further descriptions of Him and His followers can be found in an open letter to the Kansas School Board on this website: http://www.venganza.org/

Free SpeechOne of several civil liberties vigorously defended by Christians, as long as the speech in question is  pro-christian (prayer at public school functions), and  just as vigorously protested when it is not pro-christian.  (see Hypocrisy)

Free Will
  1. A stupid belief among Christians that says that we can disobey God and do as we please yet suffer the consequences  of his ire if we do so if God does not approve of it, even though he knows precisely what we are going to  do, and yet does not do anything to prevent bad acts. He does not, however, hesitate to punish us eternally  for committing such bad acts even though they were preventable.
  2. A limitation on the powers of an all-powerful God.

Fundie
One who rejects fact in favor of one of the editions of the Middle-East Trilogy.
