| Darwinism | A belief system, as defined by some Christian fundamentalists, that encompasses everything from the origin of the Universe, the origin of the first living things, and the origin of species. | DaVinci Code, The | - Actual definition. "The DaVinci Code" is a novel by Dan Brown that describes a conspiracy in the Catholic church. This conspiracy hides, among other things, knowledge of Jesus' descendants. The fact that the front cover says "a novel", indicating that it is a work of fiction even before the reader opens the book, is of no consequence to Christians, who have really gotten their panties in a wad over it.
- Christian definition. "The DaVinci Code" is a devil-inspired work of fiction that dares to suggest the blasphemy that there was more to our dear, sweet Jesus' life than what the Bible says. Amen. Dan Brown, praise God, will burn in Hell for his heresy.

Jesus said to him, "Blessed is he that has not seen, but believes anyway". In other words, believe anything you hear, no matter how far-fetched. Then they wonder why people tend to become less religious as they become more educated.
